Scope, Limitations & Safety

Last updated: April 16, 2026

1. What this product is

This Might Explain Everything is a self-reflection and educational tool. We give you your astrological chart data — calculated from the birth details you provide — along with a library of carefully written prompts designed to help you explore that data in a meaningful way.

That’s the full scope of what we do. We’re not therapists, doctors, financial advisors, or life coaches. Nothing here is meant to replace any of that — and we’d never want it to.

2. How it works

When you explore a prompt, it’s sent to a third-party AI service that we don’t own or operate. The responses you receive are generated entirely by that AI — we don’t write them, review them, or control what they say.

We’ve put real thought into designing prompts that feel grounded and intentional. But once a prompt reaches the AI, the output is out of our hands. Like any AI, it can occasionally miss the mark — being too literal, too general, or simply not quite right for where you are right now.

Treat the responses as a thinking partner, not an authority. You know yourself far better than any tool ever could.

Astrology is also, by nature, interpretive. Chart data reflects astronomical positions; what those mean for your life is a matter of personal reflection, not scientific fact.

3. This isn’t professional support

We want to be straightforward with you: using this product does not put you in a therapeutic, medical, legal, or any other professional relationship — with us or with any AI system.

If something here surfaces feelings or questions that go beyond personal reflection, please reach out to someone qualified to help. That’s not a disclaimer for our benefit — it’s genuinely important. Some things deserve more than a prompt.

Any decisions you make based on what you read here are your own. We encourage you to bring your own judgment to everything this product offers, and to seek professional guidance whenever a topic feels significant enough to warrant it.

4. Some prompts go to tender places

Parts of this product are designed to explore emotionally meaningful territory — things like early experiences, family dynamics, grief, identity, self-worth, and relationships. We designed them that way on purpose, because surface-level reflection rarely leads anywhere interesting.

But that also means it’s worth checking in with yourself before you dive in. A few things we’d genuinely suggest:

  • Go at your own pace. There’s no rush, and no prompt is mandatory.
  • If something feels like too much right now, it’s okay to stop. Come back to it later, or not at all.
  • If you’re working through something significant, consider doing this alongside support from a therapist or counselor — not instead of it.

The prompts being available doesn’t mean every prompt is right for every person at every moment. Only you can gauge that.

5. Our liability

We’ve built this product with care, and we hope it serves you well. But we also have to be honest about the limits of what we can promise.

By using the product, you acknowledge that you’re doing so voluntarily and with an understanding of what it is and isn’t. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our team are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential harm — emotional, psychological, or otherwise — arising from your use of this product or any AI-generated content delivered through it, including any decisions made or actions taken as a result.

Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable law that cannot be waived.

6. Your acknowledgment

Before accessing your chart, we’ll ask you to confirm that you’ve read this page and understand what this product is for. That’s not legal boilerplate for its own sake — it’s us making sure you’re going in with clear eyes.

7. Changes to this page

We may update this page from time to time as the product evolves. The date at the top reflects when it was last changed. Continued use after an update means you’re okay with the revised version.
