These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of the astrology data and prompts library offered by This Might Explain Everything (the "Product"). By purchasing or using the Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you don’t agree, please don’t purchase or use the Product — we’d rather you make that call upfront than feel misled later.

1. What you’re buying

You’re purchasing two things: your astrological chart data, calculated from the birth details you provide, and a library of prompts we’ve written to help you explore that data with third-party AI tools. Both are for your personal use.

That’s it — no subscriptions hidden in the small print, no upsells baked into the delivery. What you see is what you get.

2. Eligibility

You need to be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction — or have a parent or guardian’s consent — to purchase and use this product. By purchasing, you’re confirming that’s the case, and that the information you’ve provided is accurate.

3. License and permitted use

Once you’ve paid in full, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, store, and use the product files for yourself — including using the prompts with third-party AI tools for your own benefit.

What we ask you not to do:

• Resell, redistribute, or publicly share the product or its prompts as part of a competing product or service.
• Pass off any of our material as your own commercial astrology system or prompts library for sale.
• Use the product in any way that violates applicable law or harms anyone else.

We put a lot of care into this work. We just ask that you respect that.

4. Not professional advice

This product is for personal insight and reflection. It’s not therapy, medical care, legal counsel, or financial advice — and it’s not a substitute for any of those things. Using it doesn’t create any kind of professional relationship between you and us, or between you and any AI.

If something the product surfaces feels important enough to act on — especially anything relating to your health, finances, or legal situation — please talk to a qualified professional. That advice isn’t us deflecting responsibility. It’s genuinely what we’d want for you.

5. Accuracy of your birth data

Your chart is only as accurate as the information you give us. Please double-check your birth date, time, and location before you submit — if those details are wrong, your chart won’t reflect your actual astrological profile, and that affects everything built on top of it.

6. Refunds

Because this is a digital product delivered immediately, sales are generally final. That said, we’re not trying to take your money if something goes wrong:

• If we made an error calculating your chart from the correct details you gave us, we’ll fix it — or refund you.
• If you realize you entered the wrong birth details, we’ll recalculate your chart once, free of charge, once you send us the correct information.

7. Third-party AI tools

The prompts in this product are designed to be used with third-party AI tools — things like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar. Those platforms are run by independent companies with their own terms and privacy policies.

We don’t control those platforms, and we’re not responsible for their availability, output, or how they handle your data. Before you use any AI tool with our product, it’s worth familiarising yourself with that platform’s own terms.

8. Intellectual property

The prompts, structure, copy, and design of this product are ours — protected by copyright and intellectual property law. Buying the product gives you a license to use it personally, not ownership of the underlying work.

9. Limitation of liability

We’ve made this product with genuine care, and we stand behind the work we do. At the same time, we need to be clear about the limits of our responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product — even if we knew those outcomes were possible. If we are found liable for something, our total responsibility won’t exceed the amount you actually paid.

Nothing here removes any rights you have under consumer protection or other laws that can’t be waived.

10. Indemnification

If you misuse the product, breach these Terms, or infringe on someone else’s rights through your use of it, you agree to cover any reasonable costs — including legal fees — that result from that.

11. Changes to the product or these terms

We may refine the product over time — adjusting prompts, formatting, or delivery — and we may update these Terms when needed. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we’ll do our best to let you know directly. Continued use after a change means you’re okay with the updated version.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where we’re established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
